Apple yellow leaf disease mainly manifests on the young leaves of new shoots. Incidence conditions:
1. Degree of soil salinization: In the saline-alkali soil, fruit trees show iron deficiency. For example, when groundwater evaporates, salt is concentrated in the surface layer of the soil. In the depression where the groundwater level is high, salt content accumulates at the surface with the groundwater. The soil is heavy and the yellow leaf disease is prone to occur when the drainage is poor.
2. Rootstocks: Apple trees with mountain stators as rootstocks are prone to yellow leaf disease, and jellyfish are used as rootstocks. Yellow leaf disease is generally lighter.
Control methods:
1. Improve soil alkali: increase organic fertilizer and grow green manure. Dig ditch drainage to reduce the groundwater level; seepage sand and viscosity, increase soil permeability.
2. Properly supplement ferritin:
Before germination, the branches were sprayed with 0.3% to 0.5% of ferrous sulfate solution, or ferrous sulfate: copper sulfate: quicklime: water = 1:1:2.5:360, which had the effect of controlling the disease, but it could not last long.
The ferrous sulfate and organic fertilizer are mixed in a ratio of 1:5. Each application of 2.5 to 5 kg can have an effect of more than two years. The application of chelated iron (ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid iron) in soil is effective for the treatment of yellow leaf disease.
Before the budding of the fruit trees, the lateral roots were immersed in 33 to 50 times of ferrous sulfate, and 100 kg of liquid was applied to each of the plants.
