Green shell chicken breeding technology

The sales of green shell eggs in the market have been optimistic, how to raise a good green shell layer chicken?

First, the establishment of a chicken house.

Artificial breeding of green shell laying hens can be intensively cultured, raising 17 to 20 eggs per square metre. However, attention should be paid to the ventilation of the coops and to keep the ground dry. It is best to use cement floors to facilitate cleaning of the excrement and disinfection.

Second, scientific preparation of feed.

Feed preparation is mainly corn, barley, with 10% to 15% of the fish meal, plus 20% of the soybean cake and other plant protein, and then mixed with some chopped carrots, cabbage leaves, green grass and other green feed. Keep feed fresh, good palatability, less add to the ground, and prepare fresh water for chickens. Or take corn 10%-40%, sorghum or barley 20-30, wheat or gardenia 10-20, sweet potato dry 10-30%, bran and rice bran 10%-30%, bean cake or peanut cake 10%-25%, Fish meal or bone meal 3% to 15%, earthworm powder or calcium carbonate 2% to 6%, earthworm leaf powder or lotus root starch 3% to 5%. For green feed, 30 to 40 kg of green feed can be added to 100 kg of mixed feed.

Third, scientific management.

Chicks have poor disease resistance and are afraid of the cold. The indoor temperature of the chicks is controlled at about 35°C when the shells are 1 to 2 weeks old. In addition, the ventilation and lighting of the sheds are also very important. Convection in air and light are good, which can not only increase chick vigor, promote growth and development, prevent rickets, but also increase the egg production rate of adult hens.

Fourth, disease prevention and treatment.

In addition to the hygiene of chicken coops and equipment, chickens are also regularly immunized. In the event of an outbreak, it is necessary to take measures such as blockade, isolation and disinfection in a timely manner. The specific prevention and control measures are: 10 to 14 days after the chicks hatch, use the “II” seedlings to inject the nose, and inoculate the “II” seedlings around the age of 1 month, and keep the breeding male and female chickens. "II lineage" and "cholera vaccine." If chicken gizzards occur in the nearby flock, they can be immediately mixed with 0.1% potassium permanganate solution to feed chickens.
