Lotus pest control measures

First, lotus root brown spot. A common disease in the lotus leaf area produces light brown lesions on the leaves, causing the diseased leaves to partially dry. Prevention and control: a reasonable dense planting to ensure ventilation and light in Putian; appropriate application of phosphorus and potassium fertilizers, improve plant resistance, timely removal of diseased plant residues. In the early stage of disease, spray with 25% carbendazim 600 times or 75% chlorothalonil 1000 times.

Second, lotus root black spot. Also known as Brown Vein disease, occurs only on the leaves, and when the lesions are severe, the leaves are brown. Prevention: The winter field completely removes the sick leaves and burns them centrally. At the early stage of disease, diseased leaves were removed and sprayed for prevention and treatment. Commonly used 70% thiophanate-methyl 1000 times, or 65% dexamethasone 600 times, or 1:1: 160-200 times more Bordeaux mixture, sprayed every 10-15 days, sprayed 2-3 times.

Third, lotus root corruption disease. Also known as wilt disease, infestation of underground stems leads to rot. In severe cases, the field is full of yellow and fire-like. Prevention: 2-3 year rotation for severe disease fields. Commonly used 70% thiophanate-methyl 1000 times or 75% chlorothalonil 800 times spray stuffy, covered with agricultural film sealed for 24 hours, dried and planted. Deeply turn over paddy fields and apply 150 kilograms of lime. When disease occurs, 75% chlorothalonil 0.5 kg plus 30 kg of dry earth can be mixed and thrown into a shallow paddy field.

Fourth, lotus leaf streak virus disease. Symptoms can be seen on damaged lotus leaves and underground rhizomes. Large-sized polygons appear on the leaves to form irregular brownish-brown spots, and dark brown anthrax spots appear on the epidermis of the roots. Prevention: The selection of disease-resistant varieties, timely control of aphids (poisoning media), the initial stage of the disease, spray 1.5% of Lingzhi 1000 times solution.

Fifth, the leaf blight. The damaged lotus leaves are yellowed and withered, affecting the growth of lotus roots and causing a reduction in production. Prevention: Keep Putian clean and prevent pollution of oil fields. Sewage and soapy water can also cause the lotus leaves to die. Lotus root is very sensitive to herbicides and weeds must not be applied to herbicides.

Six, common pests. There are locusts, cockroaches, moths, and brown moths that damage the leaves and buds. Can be used 90% trichlorfon 800-1000 times, or 40% dimethoate 2000 times spray. The water, roots, stems, and leaves of the lotus root suck the sap, causing the lotus leaf to turn yellow. Once it is found, lime can be used to kill it. The amount of mu is 10-15 kg.
