Prevention and Control of Eggplant Verticillium Wilt
In the early stages of the onset of verticillium wilt, eggplants appear wilt during the daytime and can be recovered at night or on rainy days. In the later period, the diseased plants were completely wilt, and the yellowing part of the leaves turned brown and dry, and the leaf margins rolled up slightly. In severe cases, the whole leaves turned brown and dried off. Finally, the whole plant died.
Prevention: After the first leaf of seedlings is unfolded, use 50% Carbendazim WP 500 times for 1 time to irrigate roots; when planting, sprinkle carbendazim or thiophanate-methyl WP in the planting pits. .
Treatment: Use 50% carbendazim WP 500 times or 50% benomyl WP 1000 times in the initial stage of disease.
