Using high-temperature stuffy sheds to prevent cucumber diseases and pests

High-temperature stuffy sheds are commonly used in the control of diseases such as cucumber downy mildew, powdery mildew, bacterial leaf spot, gray mold, aphids, and spotted fly. The technical points for preventing cucumber diseases and insect pests under high temperature in the greenhouse are described below:

First, the preparatory work

The boring shed should be chosen to be sunny, and the shed should be poured 1 time before the shed, and the shed should be closed tightly. The plastic film should be tightly pressed around with soil to prevent wind penetration. Five thermometers were hung in the aisles at the middle of the greenhouse and were hung on the ground at 0m, 0.1m, 1m, 1.5m, and 2m.

Second, the best temperature high temperature stuffy shed

When the temperature is high, the temperature of the floor is the lowest, and the higher the temperature is, the higher the temperature is. When the ground temperature is 48°C, it is up to 53.5°C from the ground 200 cm. Therefore, a thermometer should be hung at the highest point of the plant when the temperature is high, so as to ensure the safety of the plant. The temperature at the tips of cucumbers should be controlled at 47°C to 49.5°C, with 49.5°C being the best. Less than 47°C had no obvious effect, and above 49.5°C some plants showed wilting in young leaves, and after 3 days, the leaf margins were dry.

When the temperature is high, the temperature of the doorway is 1°C~2°C lower than the middle, and the temperature at the entrance of the door is 1°C~2°C lower than the door of the leeward door. Therefore, the best high-temperature stuffy sheds should be selected when there is no wind during sunny days. Both doors should be sealed as tightly as possible. When determining the maximum temperature, the temperature in the middle of the greenhouse should be taken as the standard, so as to ensure the safety of the plants.

When the outside temperature is lower than 20°C, the temperature in the booth cannot reach 47°C, and it is not possible to conduct a high temperature. When the maximum temperature outside 21 °C, 9:00 am began to stuffy shed, 11:30 in the shed to reach 49 °C or so; when the maximum temperature outside 31 °C, 8 am began to stuffy shed, shed 9:30 to reach the maximum temperature . Therefore, when the temperature outside the shed is too high in summer, the start time of the boring shed should be advanced, and it should be done before the high temperature arrives at noon; when the temperature outside the shed is low in the spring and autumn, the time for starting the boring shed should be delayed, and it will be carried out when the high temperature arrives at noon. .

Third, the best duration of drowsy

When the cucumber is in a high-temperature dwelling shed, when the shed temperature reaches 47°C to 49.5°C, the continuous high temperature of 1.5 to 2 hours works best, the plant grows normally, and pests and diseases are effectively controlled. The number of high temperature boring sheds for each cucumber should be determined by the development of pests and the state of crop growth, and 12 to 15 days are appropriate for each interval.
