Fusarium head blight is a worldwide epidemic of wheat crops. The diseased ear usually presents a layer of red that is dominated by red color, so it is called scab. Each wheat growth period can be infected by Fusarium head blight, causing symptoms such as seedling rot, culm rot and ear rot. Jinzhou City, Hebei Province is mainly characterized by ear rot. The symptoms of ear rot are mainly invaded by wheat during the heading and flowering period of the wheat, and show symptoms during the filling and milk ripening period. When the climate is humid, a pink mold layer is produced at the base of the spikelet or at the joint of the glume; when the air is dry, the diseased ear is white and no mold layer is produced.

When wheat meets with continuous rain during heading and flowering, the temperature remains above 15°C, and head blight will occur. At present, wheat has gradually entered the stage of heading and flowering, and there is more rainy weather in the near future. Preventive measures: During the prevention period, the main control is in the early stage of the flowering of wheat—the flowering period. The effective agent for prevention is carbendazim. The specific method is to use 50% carbendazim WP 80g or 40% carbendazim suspension 100g per mu, 40-60 kg of water. When spraying, the spray should be sprayed on the wheat ear, and the spray should be uniform. If the wheat heading and flowering season continue to rain, rush to spray before the rain, when the number of days of rain is long, you can spray again every 5 to 7 days.
