Eating mushrooms can strengthen bones

According to a United States study, succulent mushrooms are a rich source of vitamin D in the diet and scientific consumption of mushrooms is beneficial to bone health.

According to a recent study by the US FDA, the use of ultraviolet light to irradiate fresh mushrooms that have been harvested or just picked can make mushrooms synthesize large quantities of vitamin D, and reported the results at the US Food and Drug Administration Scientific Forum. The researchers used a UV lamp to irradiate the fresh white round mushrooms that they had picked for 5 minutes. This produced a large amount of vitamin D, which was equivalent to 8.69 times the body's daily needs. When irradiated mushrooms were irradiated with ultraviolet rays for 3 hours, their vitamin D content also increased significantly. These experiments confirmed that mushrooms can increase vitamin D after sun exposure. In fact, the mushroom has such a magical effect because it contains the vitamin D product precursor - wheat sterols, this material will convert to vitamin D in sunlight.

While people are supplementing calcium, increasing the intake of vitamin D can promote the absorption and utilization of calcium. Therefore, the large amount of vitamin D brought by mushrooms is undoubtedly a good choice.
