2 Wear causes a change in the gap between the upper and lower cutting edges. Usually people pay more attention to the grinding of the working faces a, c, but less analysis of the resulting gap changes.

3 Ignore the corresponding change in the thickness of the groove width ring. The effect of the slotting knife after grinding is poor. This is because the thickness of the groove width retaining ring is fixed and the gap between the upper and lower cutting edges is unreasonable.
