1SZ-230 deep loose soil preparation machine

The 1SZ-230 deep-soil preparation machine was developed by the Beijing Yanqing Agricultural Machinery Research Institute. It is powered by an 88.2 kW (120 horsepower) wheeled tractor and consists of a front subsoiler and a rear rotary tiller. This machine efficiently breaks up and levels the soil in one pass, ensuring that the top 10 cm of soil meets the requirements for planting. The unit can also be separated into two independent machines — a subsoiler and a rotary tiller — depending on the user’s specific needs. The subsoiler is capable of deep tilling and preparing the soil in one go, making it ideal for achieving loose, well-aerated soil and preparing the surface for direct seeding. The 1SZ-230 is particularly suitable for deep-soil preparation in mature soils. It can perform deep loosening, surface leveling, crushing, and compaction all in a single operation, meeting the necessary agronomic standards for crop seedbeds. Unlike traditional plowing, this machine breaks the hardpan without disturbing the natural soil structure. It creates spaced furrows at a depth of 35 cm, which helps improve water retention and reduce soil erosion. By completing the seedbed preparation in one pass, it minimizes repeated soil compaction, ensuring better root development and healthier crops. The machine features a high-quality deep tilling section with fine soil fragmentation and a smooth, even surface. Its surface coverage is excellent, promoting uniform seed germination. The 1SZ-230 uses a three-point suspension system to connect with the tractor, offering flexibility and ease of operation.
