Problems and solutions in the application of infrared analyzer

In practical applications, the concentration analyzer cannot be used normally due to the following problems. For this reason, we propose corresponding solutions for various problems to ensure accurate measurement of the analyzer and facilitate the smooth operation of the chemical.

1) The on-site process condition is not good, so that the liquid in the furnace gas main pipe is serious. After the liquid passes through the sampling pipe, it passes through the pretreatment device and enters the analysis gas chamber of the analytical instrument. Because the liquid contains NaCO3 and other substances, when it enters the gas chamber and acts on the wafer, it affects the infrared light path, causing the analyzer to be unusable.

In order to avoid the influence of the liquid in the furnace gas on the measurement, we open the sampling point directly above the furnace gas pipeline, so that the condensed liquid and the pipeline slag in the pipeline are not easy to enter the sampling pipe, and then a collecting bottle is taken out from the sampling pipe ( A 500mL lower mouth bottle can be used. The sample gas enters from the lower part of the lower mouth bottle and goes out from the upper mouth. Even if a small amount of liquid enters, it will gather at this time, which prevents liquid from entering the instrument. If the liquid enters the analyzer and cannot be used, it can be handled by opening the analyzer to expose the analysis part, not removing the screws of the analysis part, and unplugging the sample inlet and outlet rubber hoses into a pressurized water gun and replacing them with distilled water. Enter the liquid and crystal of the measurement chamber, and after the replacement, use high pressure N2 to dry the moisture in the measurement chamber, and then adjust it to use.

2) Because the calciner gas is in a negative pressure state (generally fluctuating around a few thousand Pascals), if there is a leak in any part of the inlet from the sampling port to the chamber of the analyzer, air will enter. When the air enters, it will change the concentration of the gas, causing the measurement to be inaccurate.

The causes of air leakage are: 1 sampling rubber tube aging; 2 drying tank, dust filter tank is not sealed after replacing desiccant and cotton; 3 water collection bottle is not covered by each flash water; 4 analyzer's filter device for each The replacement of the filter paper caused the sealing gasket to be aging and sealed. How to check for leaks? The method is as follows: the sampled rubber tube is stuck, and the rotor flow meter is observed. If the rotor flow gradually returns to zero, the pretreatment device has no air leakage point; if the rotameter never returns to zero, there is a leak point, and this method is used one by one. Check the leaks of each tank and bottle. The interface and sealing point can be sealed with Vaseline oil. The aging of the hose should be replaced in a timely manner.

3) The analyzer specifies the flow rate of the gas sample between 0.2 and 0.5 l/min. If the size of the pretreatment device is not suitable, it will cause measurement lag and affect the operation.

In order to ensure accurate measurement of the meter, the gas sample flow band should not be too fast. If the flow rate is too fast, the gas absorption to the infrared is insufficient, which may cause measurement inaccuracy; if the flow rate is slow, the volume of the pretreatment device will increase, resulting in a long lag time. Therefore, the volume of the pretreatment should be minimized. The specific method is: *, to minimize the length and inner diameter of the sampling tube. The good purpose is to place the infrared analyzer near the sampling port of the furnace gas line, in order to reduce the length of the sampling tube.
