Spraying a cotton plant with a 2% superphosphate calcium leachate can drive out spawning bollworms and kill cotton spider mites, cockroaches and other pests. Spraying tomatoes with a 1% solution of calcium superphosphate has a significant effect on the prevention of tomato rot.
