American Redfish Adult Culture Technology

There are two types of fine-breeding culture methods for adult redfish: adult pond semi-intensive breeding and indoor flowing water intensive breeding. However, semi-intensive culture of ponds is commonly used.
(1) Wintering. It takes about 12 months for the fish to reach the specifications of the commodity, which must be winter.
(2) Stocking. The stocking rate is generally 300 to 600 per l/15 hectare. Stocking specifications about 5 cm. The pond water injection is carried out 1 to 2 weeks before the fish species are stocked. Generally, the fertilizer is applied once when the depth of the pond water is 30 cm, and fertilizer is applied once after the pool water is full.
If stocking small-sized fingerlings, they should be stocked when the depth of the water reaches 30 centimeters. Then, as the water temperature rises, the water level gradually deepens and the fish is fed 3 times a day. If the size of stocked fingerlings is greater than 15 cm, there should be a suitable population of plankton in the pond. Otherwise, the fertilizer should be supplemented once. The temperature of the stocking should be above 10°C.
The protein content in American redfish feed should be 35%. The feed should contain more than 12% fishmeal. Adding some shrimp head powder can improve the palatability of the feed. The size of the feed pellets is suitable for the size of the fish.
