Sugar orange application of sunflower seed fertilizer to prevent fruit cracking
This year, due to special climatic factors and the unbalanced nutrition of sugar oranges, a large number of cracking phenomena began in mid-August. In order to discuss the effect of gold sunflower seed fertilizer in the prevention and treatment of fruit cracking, the application of active sunflower, magnesium, and calcium fertilizers for Jin Kuizi was performed on the 14th August at Donggongkeng Fruit Farm to demonstrate sweet foliar spraying. 40 strains of orange trees with relatively uniform growth were selected for fertilization treatment and control treatment. A preliminary survey was conducted. The average number of cracked fruits per day for 40 orange trees reached 120, and the survey was conducted every 3 days after fertilization. The fertilization area was compared with the control area. The number of cracked fruit was significantly reduced. On August 28, the number of cracked fruit in the fertilization area was 24, while the number of cracked fruit in the control area was 62, the number of cracked fruit was reduced by 38, and the cracking rate was reduced by 61.3%. The control effect was extremely significant.
