Warmer Days
Yesterday afternoon, we spent some quality time outdoors. The kids were running around barefoot on the driveway, their little legs testing out the uneven surfaces of the cracked cement and the softening grass that was slowly transitioning from its vibrant green to a more golden hue. Meanwhile, our curious little girl decided to take matters into her own hands—she zipped off to our neighbor’s house, knocked on the door, and convinced them to come outside just to say hello. It was such a sweet moment to witness her building connections!
The weather was absolutely perfect—blue skies dotted with fluffy clouds that looked like they belonged straight out of a storybook. The transition from the cool indoors to the warm outdoors felt seamless, almost as if nature itself wanted us to step out and enjoy the fresh air. I couldn’t help but feel grateful for these fleeting moments of warmth and sunlight, especially when they seem to promise longer days ahead filled with adventure.
Speaking of adventures, I recently joined the I Heart Faces shadow challenge this week. This particular photo was taken during our Father’s Day trip to the beach last summer. It’s one of those memories that never fails to bring a smile to my face whenever I look at it.
