Life has definitely taken a turn for the better lately. Though, let’s be honest, my bank account isn’t quite as thrilled about it. You see, I’ve always had a bit of a love-hate relationship with West Elm. The pieces are stunning—so modern, yet warm and inviting—but living far away from most of their stores made it nearly impossible to justify the expense of shipping or lugging items back home. And honestly, I didn’t think it would ever change... until now.
Well, here’s the thing: West Elm is finally opening a store in Tampa tomorrow! Can you believe it? This is huge for me because now I’ll be able to stroll through their aisles, pick out my favorites, and load them into my car without breaking the bank. Plus, who doesn’t love the convenience of having everything within reach?
As a little preview of what’s in store (pun intended), I’ve put together a list of some of my top picks from their collection. Keep in mind, this is just a quick selection—they’ve got so much more than this! Honestly, narrowing it down to ten items felt almost impossible.

I’ve also been lucky enough to score an invite to tour the new location before it officially opens. It was such a treat! Walking around, chatting with staff, and imagining how each item could fit into someone’s home was inspiring. Oh, and did I mention they had scrumptious snacks from a local bakery called Butterwinks? Heavenly! I even got a sneak peek at a weathered wood pie plate that I can’t wait to use this fall. Unfortunately, it’s not available online yet, so I’ll have to snag it once the store opens.
