Germinating grain beef cattle fattening effect is good

According to the experiment, during winter and spring when green feed is scarce, sprouting grains can significantly improve the fattening process for beef cattle. This method not only enhances feed efficiency but also improves the quality of the meat. The process involves taking an appropriate amount of rice (or barley as an alternative) and soaking it in warm water at around 18-20°C for 15 hours. After soaking, the grains are spread evenly in a container, about 5 cm thick, and covered with straw or similar material to maintain moisture. Each morning and evening, they are rinsed with warm water at approximately 18°C, and kept at room temperature around 25°C. The germination process typically takes 5 to 7 days. Sprouted grains are rich in water, natural sugars, and essential vitamins and minerals, making them highly palatable to cows. Cows tend to eat them eagerly, which leads to better digestion, faster weight gain, and a more effective fattening outcome. On average, each cow can be fed 100 to 120 grams of sprouted grain per day to meet their nutritional needs. This method is not only cost-effective but also environmentally friendly, as it utilizes simple and readily available resources. It's especially useful for farmers who want to improve livestock performance without relying heavily on commercial feed. By incorporating this technique into their feeding routine, farmers can achieve better results while maintaining the health and well-being of their animals.
